Leadership Beyond Boarders
Global Perspective on Leadership, Service, and Impact
Leadership Beyond Boarders is a collection of reflections, lessons learned, and experiences gathered through service, education, travel, project management, and community engagement around the world.
At its core, this journal is about people.
It is an exploration of how individuals, families, communities, and organizations navigate the opportunities and challenges that shape their lives. Through conversations, observations, and shared experiences, I seek to better understand the social, cultural, economic, and personal factors that influence how people live, what they value, and what they hope to achieve.
While leadership is a central theme, this space extends beyond traditional leadership concepts.
It examines the human side of leadership, the relationships we build, the decisions we make, the systems we create, and the impact those choices have on the people around us.
From classrooms and boardrooms to community centers and villages, every experience offers an opportunity to learn. Whether exploring economic development initiatives in Rwanda, teaching project management, serving alongside local communities, or reflecting on everyday interactions, this journal captures the lessons that emerge when we take time to listen, observe, and engage with others.
Through these stories and reflections, I hope to document not only what I experienced, but also what those experiences reveled about leadership, service, faith, resilience, culture, and shared humanity that connects us all.
My hope is that these reflections inspire curiosity, empathy, and a deeper appreciation for the diverse experiences that shape our world.
Sometimes the most meaningful lessons are not found in the places we visit, but in the people we meet along the way.
